The girls and I went to the church carnival last night. It was a lot of fun. They got their faces painted, balloon hats, popcorn, watched the petting zoo from afar, played in a maze, made a mask, tossed bean bags, fished for prizes, and braved the pouring rain back to the van. You could not have asked for a better FREE activity for 4 year olds. Ian had swim practice, so his visit was short, but he rode in a tiny bike race, and did 6 holes of mini golf. A great reminder that sometimes it isn't big cost that makes things fun.
