We are in Muscatine seeing the grandparents. Although the weather has not been as good as it had been,Ian and the girls have had a great time. After a VERY long car ride to get here yesterday (I'll not bore you with how a 2.5 hr trip became a 4.5 hr trip) We all made it in one piece. Ian went to TNMT movie with Grandma Diane (sucker) and had Mc Donalds, not once, mind you, but twice. One before the movie, and one after. I seriously don't recall these same people who raised me being that easy, but hey that must be old age.
Today we swam at the Y, visited friends Carey and Lenny, and played at the park after dinner. All this, and we managed a short trip to the river to show the girls where all the train noises are coming from. holly is having an alone day with Grandma and Grandpa Sohn. I hear she is having a ball (I just hope we can still lift her suitcase when she is done. ) All and all single parenting is not that hard when there are a bunch of willing seniors ready to help. Looks like Fuller Park to me! We love the parks too! Hope you are enjoying your visit and I'm sure the kids are enjoying the grandparent time too! How long are you around?
