Blogging from Kevin's laptop. I have no ability to post pictures.....
This has been a quick week. It was a little tough to get back in the swing of things after spring break.
Ian has been resisting the weather change playing outside despite the cold temps, unwilling to give up his new found routine. He is very excited about his birthday party coming up next weekend. We delivered 30 invites by hand on Tuesday night. So far 14 yes 1 no.. I am getting a little worried, but it has to warm up eventually. If you could all say a little prayer for warm dry temps next Saturday, that would be great.
The girls had a play date today with a set of triplet 3 yr old boys, and their older brother who is 5. It was a lot of fun. We colored eggs, ate snacks, and the kiddos roughhoused a bit. A great time was had by all even if they were boys....
Hadley continues to be the joy of the family. The kids adore her. I look forward to her smile back at me from the crib, and she continues to glide through each day without adding much stress to an already stretched family.
I made the critical mistake of signing up for an Easter egg hunt at the YMCA tonight. It was by far the most poorly planned event I have ever attended at the Y. The kids were dismayed when Jilly only got one egg, and there was no craft or drink left 15 minutes in. Most families would just chalk the 6 bucks to experience. It stings a little more when four kids make it a $24 mistake.
Well on to a busy Easter weekend. We have a lot of party plans to carry out, and Church services. I will try to post pictures of my 5 kids in their coordinating outfits eventually. Hope all is great with all of you. Happy Easter, a perfect time to celebrate in remembrance that God offers us all forgiveness in the sacrifice and resurrection of his perfect son.
