Disappointment

It seems like there is always someone disappointed. Weather is too cold to go to the pool. Ball game rained out. Out of a favorite snack, not having a favorite for dinner. I am getting a little tired of pointing out to my kids that there are worse things in life than having a blue bottle of bubbles instead of a pink one. Just when I am feeling completely at my wits end with the whining, I remember a story that a friend of mine told me about seeing a set of triplets at Disney. 5 yr olds who all have moderate to severe disabilities. That mom would probably smack me upside the head and remind me that there are worse things to deal with than kids who need perspective....
