Nothing since Halloween? What's my excuse!

You try keeping up with a blog, and working the schedule I do in a week..... Sounded really good right? I worked 4 hours this week, so in reality it is probably less awesome stuff to say, rather than lack of time.

So catching up...

1. Swimming has begun. Jillian and Ian had their first meet last weekend. It went ok. I am not loving having a kid in each session, meaning we get to experience the WHOLE meet now, but I love watching Jilly find something she loves that is hers.


2. Ella was in the high school play. She was part of a drama camp (which by the way with 3 7 yr olds I could hold right here) this summer, that got to be in the play this fall. She made such a cute "fish-like dancer"

3. Hadley is in swim lessons with her friend Charlie. She is doing really well. In the first session she blew right through the first level, and is now is into the red class.

4. Ian's cross-country season is over. I felt kinda sorry for him. During this overlap, he had cross country from 3-4:45, then swimming from 6:15 to 8:50. He handled it well, and is getting in good shape fast. He is ready to focus on swim now, and I am ready to stop forcing homework at 9:30 at night!


5. Ella and Holly are playing year round softball. They came home last time full of energy, and enthusiasm. (except for sliding practice, Ella HATES sliding)

As mentioned, I am working as a courier for a radiology office. It is a great job, and fills my desire for outside contact. The goal is to use this new income to pay for the above activities. I will still come out behind, but not as much as if I was doing nothing.
