Spring break chugs on. I am not going to lie to you. The kids are on my last nerve. Wrestling, yelling, kicking, irritating, oh and Ella is puking on the couch with a fever, they have found a way to accomplish it all and it is only Wednesday.....
We did go to Muscatine for one night. It was nice to have dinner with my parents, and see my cousin and her girls briefly. We were able to play dominoes, with Kevin's parents, and Ian and Kevin golfed with his dad. The ride home was pure hell. The girls were punchy tired. They bickered and drove us and each other nuts for the whole 3 hours. Just when I thought I could not stand the ride for one more minute, I said a quick prayer for patience. What I got was a tiny miracle. We drove into a storm and there was a full rainbow. Nothing distracts a car full for 5 yr old girls like a rainbow.... So home we are in one piece.
Today the plans include a trip to target and gamestop to spend more of Ian's birthday money, and replenishing our grocery choices. We have a sitter tonight, and 6:15 is a much anticipated hour. Trivia at Wild Wings anyone??

More puke??? Geez, you can't catch a break with the sickies. I hope Ella is feeling better soon and that is the end of it. Take care. Charlie and I need want to go to lunch with you and Hadley one day soon...once the pukies are gone...and all is right with the world again.
