The Pumpkin Patch

Who takes a school full of 3 and 4 year olds to a pumpkin patch in the rainy, 50 degree weather? Worse yet, who is a glutton for punishment enough to take her 3- 3 year olds along on said trip? After a hayride through 3 feet of mud, a train ride in the pouring drizzle, pulling Holly out of at least 3 puddles (she just doesn't see them), and a walk through the maze of animals labeled "animals may bite" we were pretty much done. We would have left at that point, but the lure of the rainsoaked playground, and the "free" pumpkin that came with the $7 admission was too strong. We toughed it out. The girls were stripped of all the muddy clothes, and fed chicken noodle soup upon entering the house. They proceeded to take a 3 hour nap, and are all talking about the "fun"adventure they had this morning.

PS there is no photo, I forgot to take the camera. Oh well, it would have been one more thing to keep track of......
