Every day the girls manage to say something that cracks me up-shaking me out of whatever bad mood, or moment I am having. Today it was this: I am trying to get Jilly to hold still as we shove her feet into snow boots, (after having just done it two other times I am frustrated Holly starts "oh no, oh no, Mommy-- I need DRY claps" What are claps? Mittens of course, because hands , esp hand in mittens, are for clapping. I think it made me giggle for about 5 minutes. The innocence of Holly is just something I want to hold onto forever.
Wet claps are no fun. They are playing outside in unmatched claps while theirs are in the dryer. Perfect addition for their stockings.
