BGB (Big Girl Beds) Week 2

When you have triplets, you have to be careful who you share information with. There are always people ready to critique your parenting. ( Aren't they potty trained yet?, They are still in cribs?, My kids never used sippy cups after they were two) These people never raised three toddlers at the same time.
We finally made the move out of cribs, well at least at night, last week. The girls are loving their big girl beds. Each chose her own sheets, and they have done really well at staying put at night. It is a later bedtime than we used to have, and we tend to get up pretty early too, but all in all great! Naps are touch and go, but Ella has it mastered, and Holly joined her today, so we are one kid away from packing two of the cribs away.

My kids were late at getting out of their cribs too. They loved their cribs so much and loved to get snuggled up in them that I let them stay in them until they were three. My parents used to ask me if I was planning to move Colby to a big girl bed before she started kindergarten. I think it actually worked to my advantage because at 3 years old you can at least explain to them that this is their new big kid bed, etc and they GET it. I'm with you on not pushing things too fast. I hung on to the "baby" in each of the kids for as long as I could. They grew up without my permission anyway :)
