A season about to close

Ian has his final meet of the regular season tomorrow. He has enjoyed a really great season, and has declared that he "might" even flip turn at the city meet. He is signed up again for winter swimming through a club team. It is much more intense, and demanding, but he really seems to thrive on that, so we will give it another year to see if he burns out. (or more likely, I do)

The girls will start lessons in the fall, and Ian is hoping they will swim 6 & unders the year they are 5. In order to have 4 of them swim at the same time, Mommy will have to go back to work to finance the adventure. Maybe they'd like to take up something cheaper like.... oh what am I saying all of these activities cost a fortune this is why people don't have 5 kids!

That's a great pool picture! Sounds like swimming is really his thing. That's great that he is so passionate about it at such a young age. Colby just participates in stuff because I sign her up :) I think two kids' activities are expensive--can't imagine 5! Especially in your area. Hope all is well with you!

I wish I could take credit for the picture. My neighbor has the best eye, and camera equiptment, and has been photographing the swim team. I have felt very lucky to not have to keep track of my camera at the meets.
