Coming Home

After 3 blissful nights in the hospital, we are home to real life. It's not that I don't want to be home, I missed the girls terribly,( I got to seen Ian every day) but here I have to do things again. Five kids need fed, drinks, bathed. Laundry doesn't just magically disappear like at the hospital. Bottles have to be washed, not thrown away. The baby doe not go to the nursery for interrupted sleep. It may take a couple days to get into a routine. I think it will be a divide and conquer strategy. This morning, Kevin took the girls who were up at 5:30 with the morning feed, to the store for baby necessities, breakfast, and coffee. I stayed home and fed changed, and cuddled the baby. Washed the dishes, and got most of the hospital stuff put away. If there were only going to be two of us all the time.... I am already dreading him going back to work.

Hadley is a dream so far. She sleeps, eats, sighs, and sleeps some more. The other kids love her to pieces. She is twice the size the triplets were when we brought them home, and it is funny to see her in clothes they wore at 2-3 months old. I am not sure why, but my pictures are not posting, so I'll try again later.
