Hadley is a lucky little girl. Her four siblings love her beyond reason. They normally see her as outside of the scope of their torture that they reserve for one another. Each of them goes out of their way to make her happy.
Last night I took the triplets to a birthday party at one of those indoor bouncy places. I was only planning to stay long enough to get their shoes and coats where they needed to go, and ensure that they were okay with me leaving. (that was a joke, they barely knew I walked them in) Hadley marched right up with her sisters and demanded her "bracelet" that was needed for admission because she was going to a "birfday party". My friend Julie was sweet enough to let Hadley stay. Oh my gosh did she have a ball!! Her sisters shoved her little rump up each ladder, and drug her down the biggest slides, smiling all the way. She sat with the big kids at the pizza table, and waited as politely as she could manage until she was granted a goody bag (my gosh she is proud of that thing)
This morning she must have still be on a high from the "big" kid experience, and she flipped out when they started signing their Valentines for school. Each of them gave her a couple, but she has been giving them the look as if to say, this is not as many as you have..... Can't wait to start counting things for 100th day, so much for ages 3 and up!
