Saturday Events

Today was the kids' first swim meet of the season. Everyone did great, and swam really hard. The girls each made it all 25 yrds without a break, and Ian swam just off his times from the winter. (Not bad for one practice and 3 months off of training.) I'd love to give you pics, but I am photo challenged, as my camera is kaput, and I do not have permission to buy a new one yet. This afternoon it was on to baseball. The cubs finally pulled one off after 3 consecutive heart-breaking losses for the previous 9-0 little leaguers. Ian had two good hits, and no real plays in the field. Probably not a bad thing, he feels like crap today. Allergies are in full swing, and really knocking the wind from him this afternoon.
