I just finished The Road by Cormac McCarthy. I have to say as much as I want to be a mentally fit person, this one was not my thing. The writing itself was pretty complicated, and the story was a but depressing. (that is unless you like no hope in a world full of cannibals) It felt like one of those frustrating dream sequences where you go nowhere and get nothing done. I love a good cry book, but this one was just sad in a dismal, blah way. I am now compiling a list for vacation anyone read anything good???

I just finished When You Are Engulfed in Flames by David Sedaris. Hysterical.
If you're looking for light 'chick' reading, I loved The Scandalous Summer of Sissy LeBlanc or anything by Lorna Landvik.
I just finished Angry Housewives by Lorna Landvik so I 2nd that recomendation.
I've been working my way through the Sue Grafton "A" is for.... "B" is for..... etc. series.
There isn't alot of deep thought that involved in this series....just easy reading which is perfect for reading at work!
