Random stuff

The rain is here. Ian was lucky that it held off another day, so his school could do field day yesterday. He loves anything that involves active time outdoors. The girls are trying to make the best of things, playing dress-up and crafting drawings for their friends.

I am happy to report that we should have a refrigerator by Saturday, and that this means I will be able to access the laundry room again at will. ( now where did I leave that will?)

Swimming starts on Saturday, coupled with little league that is going to create some pretty jam packed Saturdays in June. Ian has declared that he wants to try football in the fall. I am more nervous about the scheduling than the game even if my 10 yr old only makes the minimum weight to play with the 10 yr olds by 2 lbs. I guess that when you are 10 you are supposed to weigh over 70lbs? Soaking wet, and full of food he is about 72 lbs, so let's hope he runs REALLY fast.

The girls have their last swimming lesson tomorrow. I have to decide if they what they will do next. I think that I may be able to get them in a camp or two this summer, and they have "safety town" coming up, so July will be here before we know it.

Hadley is a talking machine. She is stringing together small phrases, such as "Ella-Wait-pueeese!" and "good dog" "nice dog" It won't be long until like the others she is able to form excuses for her naughty behavior with all those little words..... Babies grow up fast!

Hopefully one of these days I can post "after" pictures from the house, for now there are many "unfinished" projects that leave it looking like a work in progress.
