Money well spent

For the past 3 1/2 years we have used the same babysitter on a very regular basis. She knows the kids, routines, and meets`all of our needs. We are down to one night a week now that the kids are older, and my need for day help is diminished. I love Wednesday. I don't feed them, give baths, or put them to bed. Instead, Kevin and I (and often Ian) go out for a relaxing dinner, and do whatever else we want. I treasure this "night off" from the routine. Recently, Nicole has become ever more valuable. She now comes twice a week and folds and puts away all the kids laundry. This is AWESOME!!! I am finally always caught up with the five of them, and know where stuff is! I used to pay a cleaning service, but the kids just trashed the place a day later, so I am finding this to be something that outlasts their skills. It is truly one of the best luxuries I could pay for.
