The Fruit of our Labor

If you know Ian, you know he is a bit, well.... high strung. One of the sensory issues he deals with the most is getting a haircut. He HATES everything from the cape, to the neck brushing. He also hates having me talk to the lady about him. "interfering" he calls it. It has taken 3 weeks to convince him that it is not as bad as he remembers, and to assure him that I will stay out of his conversation with the lady cutting his hair.

He marched in, told her he prefers a #3 blade all over, and please do not use scissors on him for any reason. After it was all over he proceeded to grab a blue sucker, and let me know it is okay to pay her. I reminded him that a thanks was in order, and he assured her that this was not even the worse he's ever had. The photo shows his new do, and if you enlarge it, you'll see the blue residue from the sucker. Face washing, after all, is a close second....
