Hadley is developing rapidly, and seems to be pretty smart (underwear on the head aside). She understands almost everything I say now. Do you want a bath? She runs to the stairs. Do you want to eat? She runs to her chair. Bring me your pants. She brings the pants, not the socks or the shirt. I saw her pick up a crayon this morning, and head for the playroom. A few minutes later she brought back a coloring book. I think that the sheer amount of time she spends observing the world is developing that little brain so rapidly. I marvel at the things she can do, and I marvel at the fact that I have time to marvel. With the triplets we spent so much time surviving the toddler years that I think I forgot to enjoy them.

Not just another pretty face
