Monday night was Ian's 4th grade musical. I gave up trying to get a good picture, and settled for one of the whole group. It is always fairly impressive what the music teacher is able to do. They put on a pretty sophisticated performance compared to what I remember music class being like.
Thursday Kevin moved the computer upstairs for the kids to have more free access during the day. (he works in the basement). The girls have no real training, and they are totally kicking butt at learning how the whole thing works. Most of the week they played "jumpstart 1st grade" It was funny how quickly they learned which of the games were too hard, and which they could manage. Now if they could only learn to share.....
Saturday and Sunday morning we had a swim meet. Ian did awesome dropping time in 5 of his 6 events. He was excited to finally break through for the year. Next Monday is the final meet of the season, then we are on to baseball in all probability. Saturday night we did "make your own" pizzas, and enjoyed a quiet night of cheap movies thanks to Redbox.
Tonight it is reruns, and leftovers with a warm blanket. We are suffering negative temps again with a windchill of about -25, so it is far too misrable to leave home.
